The LINQ Promenade

The LINQ Promenade is Caesars' open-air pedestrian street on the mid-Strip, running between The LINQ Hotel + Experience and the Flamingo. The district itself is free to wander any hour, and its two anchors bookend the walk: the 550-foot High Roller, North America's tallest observation wheel, at the far end, and the Fly LINQ zipline launching riders 1,121 feet over the crowd below. In between sit 30-plus places to eat, drink and shop, from In-N-Out and Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips to Yard House and Brooklyn Bowl.

Know the trade-offs. It's fully outdoors, so midday summer heat and winter wind make strolling a chore - evenings are the sweet spot, when the lights come on and the wheel glows. The Promenade itself is really a dining-and-shopping strip: if you're not riding, eating or people-watching, 30 minutes covers it. Friday and Saturday nights get packed, and driving means the paid LINQ garage, because the street has no lot of its own. Tenants rotate, so don't be surprised if a shop from an older list is gone.
