Thirteen real, whole-body human specimens — preserved through polymer plastination and dissected to expose muscle, bone, and nerve — anchor this anatomy exhibition on the Atrium Level of the Luxor. More than 260 organs and partial specimens fill out galleries organized by body system, and the health comparisons hit hardest: a smoker's blackened lungs beside a healthy pair, a liver scarred by cirrhosis, joints ground down by arthritis. The tone is classroom, not haunted house — placards explain what you're looking at and how lifestyle got it that way, so it reads more like the best field trip you never took than a Strip thrill ride.

Two caveats belong up front. The specimens came from China through the operator's partners, and after a 2008 settlement with New York's attorney general the company conceded it can't independently verify how each body was sourced — some visitors reasonably sit this one out on those grounds. Less weighty but worth knowing: the fetal-development gallery sits in its own section so you can walk past it entirely, and admission has crept up over the years while the exhibition itself hasn't grown, so it's priced like a headline attraction when it's really a tight, excellent museum stop.
