Luxor
The Luxor is the Strip's unmistakable glass pyramid, pairing a striking Egyptian theme — a giant sphinx, Titanic artifacts and a sky beam — with a vast casino, solid dining and some of the best-value rooms in Las Vegas. Family-friendly, with a free tram to Mandalay Bay and Excalibur.

Is Luxor Worth It? Honest Review, Rooms & Rates
You can't miss the Luxor — the 30-story glass pyramid that anchors the south end of the Strip, its sky beam visible for miles. Inside, the Egyptian theme runs from a towering sphinx and obelisk to permanent attractions like the Titanic and Bodies exhibitions, all wrapped around a sprawling casino and a solid line-up of restaurants and bars.
It's a mid-range, family-friendly resort that delivers genuine Strip atmosphere at budget prices, and it's home to Blue Man Group. One thing worth knowing before you book: rooms split between the original Pyramid and the newer Towers, and the difference is real. Pyramid rooms have dramatic slanted windows and ride the novelty diagonal 'inclinator' for a true only-in-Vegas stay, while the Towers are a modern, standard hotel with fast elevators — the safer pick if you want classic comfort or are prone to motion sickness.
Rooms are among the cheapest of any resort this central, but factor in the $45-plus-tax resort fee (about $51 a night) and $20–25 self-parking before comparing totals. Getting around is easy: a free tram links Luxor with Excalibur and Mandalay Bay, and indoor walkways connect all three — three resorts' worth of restaurants and shows without stepping outside.
Insider tipParking works harder if you resort-hop: one Luxor parking charge includes in-out privileges at every MGM Resorts property in Las Vegas for a full 24 hours (same parking type), so you can park once and car-hop the Strip. Registered hotel guests pay a flat $20/day; day visitors pay $25 on Fri-Sun.Check Rates & Availability →
