Back on stage: Luxor canceled his shows after his September 18, 2026 hospitalization and set October 19, 2026 as the return, and the 8 PM calendar is on sale again from there.

Carrot Top - Scott Thompson - has headlined Luxor's Atrium Showroom since 2005, more than 20 years, which makes him one of the last old-school nightly comedy headliners left in town. The act is prop comedy at machine-gun pace: trunk after trunk of self-built visual gags, pop-culture riffs and self-deprecation about the hair, the tan and the career, compressed into 75 minutes with no dead air.

You already know if this is your show: prop comedy is the most polarizing genre in stand-up, and he leans into it rather than apologizing. The pace is relentless and loud, material gets noticeably edgier as the set goes on, and returning fans will recognize a chunk of the arsenal - the trunks evolve, the formula doesn't. Shows run at 8 PM roughly six nights a week (Sundays usually dark), from about $53, in an intimate room where every seat is close. Ages 16+, with anyone 18 or younger accompanied by an adult - bring photo ID.
