Purple Reign, THE Prince Tribute Show Tickets
Jason Tenner's two-decade Prince tribute — the first tribute act ever on Letterman — now at the V Theater after the Tropicana's demolition. ~Tue/Thu/Sat 8:30 PM, from $27, 16+.

Is Purple Reign Worth It? Honest Review & Tips
Purple Reign is Jason Tenner's Prince — a tribute act with real history: it made television history in 2008 as the first tribute band ever booked as musical guest on Letterman, and it survived its longtime home's demolition, moving from the Tropicana (final show there June 2024) to the V Theater at the Miracle Mile Shops. Tenner has studied the look, the moves and the guitar work for two decades; the band behind him plays the catalog live, from “Let's Go Crazy” through the “Purple Rain” closer.
Current logistics: about three nights a week — typically Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday — at 8:30 PM, roughly 90 minutes, ages 16+ with under-18s accompanied. Face tickets from about $27 with fees, while resale sites list the same seats past $112 — among the worst markup ratios in town, so buy official only. The V Theater is a compact mall showroom: production values are modest, proximity is total, and for a concert-style tribute the second matters more.
Insider tipOfficial tickets only — the $27-vs-$112 face-to-resale gap here is the worst in the genre — and in a room this compact, the cheap seats hear the same band: spend the difference on the Miracle Mile dinner before.Check Tickets & Prices →
