Is The Mentalist Worth It? Honest Review of Gerry McCambridge's Show

The Mentalist is Gerry McCambridge's mind-reading show - the longest-running mentalism act on the Strip at 20-plus years - playing the V2 upstairs showroom at the V Theater complex in Planet Hollywood's Miracle Mile Shops. McCambridge, billed as "The Mentalist" since his 2004 NBC special of that name, still performs every show himself: predictions, audience mind-reading, and a running comic commentary that keeps the tone closer to stand-up than séance. It runs about 75 minutes, Thursday through Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. (dark Wednesdays), with tickets from around $33 - one of the better value-per-astonishment ratios in town.
