The Park is the landscaped outdoor promenade between Park MGM and New York-New York, the pedestrian gateway that funnels the Strip's foot traffic to T-Mobile Arena. Opened in April 2016, it strings together desert landscaping, a water wall, sculptural shade canopies and a rotating lineup of casual spots, with Beerhaus, Shake Shack and the Hello Kitty Cafe among the anchors. Its centerpiece is Bliss Dance, Marco Cochrane's 40-foot dancer in steel mesh, more than 7,500 pounds of her, lit from within after dark.

Be honest with your expectations: this is a pleasant few-minute walk, not a destination. There's little to do beyond eat, drink and photograph the sculpture, midday summer sun overwhelms the shade canopies, and Bliss Dance is a plain steel figure until dark - after sunset she's one of the Strip's better free photos. On arena event nights the whole promenade becomes a slow-moving crowd funnel, which is either the atmosphere you want or your cue to detour.

The promenade itself is walkable around the clock, and night is when it's best: cooler air, the water wall lit, and Bliss Dance glowing. Individual bars and restaurants keep their own hours.

Do you need a ticket to walk through?

No. The Park is free public space, and only T-Mobile Arena events beyond it are ticketed. On game and concert nights expect the walk to slow to a shuffle right before and after showtime.
