Derrick Stroup plays one night in MGM Grand's Aces of Comedy series: Sunday, December 6, 2026 at 10 p.m. in the MGM Grand Theater, the 740-seat room that was the David Copperfield Theater until April 2025. It's a single date, not a run, slotted into rodeo week between Rodney Carrington's three nights and Steve Treviño's. Tickets start at $39 before taxes and fees, on sale since August 7, 2026; the series admits guests 16 and older, with under-18s accompanied by an adult.

The late curtain comes from the room's double booking with "Now You See Me Live," which holds the 7 and 9:30 p.m. slots through early January. A Sunday in National Finals Rodeo week means the city is at peak occupancy, and resale floors for the date were sitting near $149 against the $39 face price, a gap of almost four times. Stroup is a newer headliner than most of the Aces roster, with a 2026-27 tour that runs through Denver, Minneapolis, San Diego and New York's Town Hall, so there's little Vegas track record to judge the set by. No runtime is published.
