Do all Las Vegas hotels charge resort fees, and which ones don't?
1 answer
Nearly every casino resort charges one. The exceptions are a short list worth knowing by name.
- On the Strip: Best Western Plus Casino Royale, the small place between The Venetian and Harrah's, and the Jockey Club, a condo-hotel next to The Cosmopolitan.
- Downtown: Four Queens and Binion's.
- A block or two off the Boulevard: non-casino chains such as Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites, which typically skip the fee and often include parking and breakfast. You lose the casino under your room, which for some people is the point.
Everything else with a casino attached charges something, from $30 at El Cortez to $55 at the Strip flagships.
Watch the all-in math. A fee-free hotel that is a $25 rideshare from where you want to be each evening can cost more than a $50-fee hotel you can walk out of. Compare the total for your nights, not the headline rate; since May 2025 booking sites have to show it before you pay.
