Absinthe is Spiegelworld's flagship — an in-the-round circus-and-comedy show in a Spiegeltent on the Roman Plaza outside Caesars Palace, where hand-balancers, aerialists and high-wire acts work a small round stage just feet from the audience. Between acts, host The Gazillionaire and his sidekick run the filthiest crowd-work on the Strip; the 18+ rating is enforced and earned. It has been one of the town's best-selling tickets for over a decade because the two halves feed each other: the closer the acrobatics, the harder the comedy lands.

Know the practical side before you book. The show runs 80 minutes with no intermission, seven nights a week — 7 and 9 PM most nights, with an 11 PM show added Friday and Saturday. Seating is unpadded folding chairs and barstools packed shoulder to shoulder, and the front rows double as a splash zone and the host's favorite roasting ground — book Row 3 or deeper if that's not your idea of fun. Box-office tickets start around $135 with fees included, and while the tent is air-conditioned, it is still a tent in a garden — dress light in summer.

80 minutes straight through — no intermission. That's also worth knowing because the seats are unpadded folding chairs and barstools; if your back is fussy, pick the chair sections over the stools.

Where should I sit — and is the splash zone real?

Very real. The first two rows catch spray, confetti and the bulk of The Gazillionaire's crowd-work; sit Row 3 or deeper to watch the roast instead of starring in it. The VIP couch-and-table section buys breathing room and the clearest sightlines to both performance areas.

What are the age rules?

Strictly 18 and over, with photo ID checked at the door. There is no family-friendly version of this show — the comedy is the point, and it is filthy by design.

What times does Absinthe run?

Seven nights a week: 7 and 9 PM Sunday through Thursday, with a third 11 PM show on Friday and Saturday. Weekend slots sell out first — book those ahead.

How do I find the tent, and where do I park?

The Spiegeltent sits in the Green Fairy Garden on the east side of Caesars Palace's Roman Plaza, directly across from Gordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen — you never enter the casino. The garden and tent are step-free. Caesars self-parking runs $20 a day, valet $50.
