Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil Tickets

Cirque's Michael Jackson tribute at Mandalay Bay — dancers and aerialists riding a remixed MJ catalog through speakers built into every seat. Thu–Mon, 90 minutes, ages 5+.

Is Michael Jackson ONE Worth It? Honest Review, Tickets & Seating Tips

Michael Jackson ONE is Cirque's jukebox tribute staged as a full production: four misfits chase Michael's iconic moves through a custom Mandalay Bay theater while dancers, aerialists and a slackline act ride a remixed MJ catalog. The sound system is the real star — speakers are built into every seat — and the finale drops the acrobatics for pure concert energy.

Seat choice makes or breaks the night precisely because of that sound design: center sections get the full mix, while the upper side banks (201 and 205) audibly lose bass and effects — the worst value in the room. Some visitors also arrive expecting a story and find it plays closer to a staged concert; take it as a dance-and-music show and it delivers. 90 minutes, no intermission, Thursday through Monday at 6:30 and 9 PM (dark Tuesday–Wednesday), with tickets from about $79 before fees. Ages 5 and up, under-16s with an adult — and come early, because a DJ warms the room up before curtain.

Insider tipPay the difference for center sections — the built-in-seat audio is the whole point, and the upper side banks (201/205) audibly lose it. The DJ pre-show starts ~20 minutes early; that's the fun part of the wait.

Frequently asked questions

Which seats have the best sound?

Center sections — the surround mix comes out of every seat, and it's fullest dead-center. The upper side banks (201 and 205) measurably lose bass and directional effects; sections 101 and 104 mid-way back are the sensible compromise if center is sold out.

What days and times does it run?

Thursday through Monday at 6:30 and 9 PM, dark Tuesday and Wednesday. A DJ plays the room from about 20 minutes before curtain — arriving early is part of the experience.

Is it a concert or a Cirque show?

Closer to a staged concert with acrobatics than a narrative Cirque production — the thread about four fans chasing Michael's spirit is thin by design. Go for the dancing, the slackline act and the sound, not a story.

Can I bring kids?

From age 5, with under-16s accompanied by an adult. It's family-safe content-wise, but the volume is genuinely loud everywhere in the room — consider ear protection for the youngest.

Parking and getting to Mandalay Bay?

Self-parking runs $20–25 a day, valet $40. Mandalay Bay anchors the far south Strip — the free tram from Excalibur via Luxor drops you inside the building and beats walking in summer.
