Is Derek Hough Dance for the Holidays at BleauLive Worth It? The Christmas-Week Tuesday, Honestly
Derek Hough's Dance for the Holidays plays BleauLive Theater at Fontainebleau Las Vegas on Tuesday, December 29, 2026 at 7:30 p.m., the next-to-last stop of a tour that opens in Phoenix on November 4 and closes in San Jose the night after Las Vegas. It is a full holiday dance production: Hough and a company of dancers work through Christmas standards and modern pop versions with full choreography and stage design, co-created and directed by the Emmy-winning duo Napoleon and Tabitha Dumo, known as NappyTabs, and produced by Greg Young of Mojave Ghost. Hough himself holds four Emmys from thirteen nominations, six Dancing with the Stars championships and four seasons on the judging panel of World of Dance, with stage credits that include Footloose on the West End and NBC's Hairspray Live. The tour bills it as a show for the whole family.
Fontainebleau has published no face price, runtime or cast list, and we could not read the resort's own event page; tickets have been on sale since August 21. No age policy is published for Las Vegas, though another venue on the same tour admits all ages. An earlier version of the tour played Las Vegas on December 20, 2024 with Hough's wife, Hayley Erbert Hough, in the cast; her participation in the 2026 dates has not been confirmed by anyone official, so do not book on that assumption.
The night to plan for is a Tuesday between Christmas and New Year's, the week Strip hotels charge their annual peak, and Fontainebleau sits at the far north end of the Boulevard, a ride rather than a walk from the center. BleauLive is a three-level, roughly 3,800-seat room; the lower levels are the ones to pay for in a dance show, where the staging reads from the floor. The dance listings cover the rest of the season.
Insider tipBook the lowest level you can afford rather than a cheaper seat up top: BleauLive's upper tiers are steep and far for a choreography show, and the production's floor patterns are the thing you are paying to see.Check Tickets & Prices →
