Tailgate Beach Club

Tailgate Beach Club

Tailgate Beach Club is Mandalay Bay's sports dayclub - the 2026 rebrand of Daylight by Clique Hospitality. Five pools (three heated), 125+ ft of LED screens, free general admission; pay only for seats or the drink package.

Inside Tailgate Beach Club at Mandalay Bay

Tailgate Beach Club is what Daylight Beach Club turned into: in spring 2026, Clique Hospitality rebuilt Mandalay Bay's party pool around sports instead of DJs-as-religion, reopening it in May with Snoop Dogg on the decks. The bones are serious - five resort-style pools (three of them heated), more than 125 feet of LED screens, 22 cabanas, two bungalows, and capacity for 2,000 - now pointed at NFL Sundays, UFC cards, World Cup mornings, and March Madness afternoons.

The pricing model is the plot twist: general admission is free. You pay for where you sit - lounge chairs at $25 single and $50 double, cabanas by minimum spend - or for the all-you-can-drink package covering beer, house wine, and well cocktails until 6pm. The calendar follows sports rather than summer. The club runs from March Madness through Super Bowl Sunday, then typically goes dark from mid-February to mid-March. Off-season hours are Thursday through Sunday, 11am to 6pm. From September the football schedule takes over: Sunday 9am to 9pm, Monday and Thursday 11am to 9pm, Friday 11am to 6pm, Saturday 8:30am to 8pm, with hours pushed later for big games.

Set expectations by the name: DJs play, but the screens run the show, the volume is broadcast-first, and it's a 21-plus crowd yelling at football rather than a scenic swim. For a free-entry pool with this much production on a game day, nothing else on the Strip competes.

Insider tip Big fight or NFL Sunday: reserve the cabana, that's what the venue is for. Casual visit: walk in free, take a $25 chair, and skip the all-you-can-drink math unless you're staying past three rounds - it only pays off if you use it.

Frequently asked questions

Is entry really free?

Yes - general admission costs nothing for anyone 21+ with ID. Money enters the picture for seating (chairs $25 single / $50 double, cabanas on minimum spend) and the optional all-you-can-drink package running until 6pm.

When is Tailgate open?

Tailgate works a sports calendar, not a summer one: it runs from March Madness through Super Bowl Sunday and typically closes from mid-February to mid-March. Off-season hours are Thursday through Sunday, 11am to 6pm. From September the football schedule kicks in: Sunday 9am to 9pm, Monday and Thursday 11am to 9pm, Friday 11am to 6pm, Saturday 8:30am to 8pm, extended for big games.

Is this the old Daylight Beach Club?

Same footprint, new identity - Clique Hospitality rebranded Daylight into the sports-first Tailgate concept, with a public preview in late April 2026 and the grand opening May 16, headlined by Snoop Dogg.

What sports does it show?

Whatever matters that day across 125-plus feet of LED: NFL and college football, UFC, NBA, MLB, World Cup, F1. Saturdays from September 2026 through January 2027 run a dedicated college-football program for the 21-plus crowd, with general admission free or cheap if you book a spot in advance. DJs play around the broadcasts - audio priority goes to the game.

What's in the VIP tier?

22 cabanas and two bungalows with minimum spends (quoted directly by the venue), PlayStation setups in VIP, plus beer pong and foosball on deck. Full bar and kitchen run all day.
