Same building, new name. Caesars closed The Cromwell for a redesign with Lisa Vanderpump and reopened it as The Vanderpump Hotel on May 29, 2026; the grand opening was June 11.

What changed

  • Rooms and lounges: all 188 rooms redone in her style, moss green and dusty lilac with a lot of mirrored gold and silver. The casino stayed.
  • The roof: Drai's Beachclub and the rooftop Drai's Nightclub closed for good on October 31, 2025. The roof is now Soleia, the hotel's own seasonal pool, 21 and over.
  • The club: Drai's moved back to its original basement two days later as Drai's After Hours, so weekend nights still run late.
  • Food and drink: Giada De Laurentiis's GIADA on the second floor, looking straight at the Bellagio fountains, plus a cocktail lounge called Gigolo and a Starbucks.

Before you book

The corner is the reason to stay: Las Vegas Boulevard at Flamingo, across from the fountains, a few minutes on foot from Caesars Palace and Horseshoe. Rooms start around $249, the resort fee is $54.95 plus tax and you must be 21 to book. There is no spa and only the one restaurant, so you borrow the neighbors for the rest.

The lineage, if you are curious: Barbary Coast from 1979, Bill's Gamblin' Hall from 2007, The Cromwell from 2014. Current rates are on our Vanderpump Hotel page.
