Is Twist & Shout Worth It? Honest Review of the Ahern Beatles Tribute
Twist & Shout — sometimes billed in full as "The Definitive Beatles Experience" — is a live-band Beatles tribute in The Showroom on the second floor of the Ahern Hotel, the boutique property on West Sahara near the STRAT. The set runs the catalog's whole arc in about 75 minutes, from the mop-top early hits through the singalong anthems, played to a small room that trades production scale for proximity. Shows run Thursday through Saturday: doors 6:30 p.m., music 7 to about 8:15, with an optional pre-show dinner from 5:30 at the hotel's All American Sports Kitchen downstairs — and parking at the Ahern is free.
Two things to know before booking. First, don't buy the wrong show: the Ahern also markets a separate Beatles tribute ("Love Is All You Need"), and the Saxe Theater complex runs its own Beatles production — confirm the name Twist & Shout on your ticket. Second, the venue is off-Strip — an easy drive or short rideshare, but nothing you'll wander past. It's family-friendly, all ages, and the early 7 p.m. curtain leaves the whole evening ahead of you.
Insider tipBook the dinner-plus-show combo logic yourself: eat at 5:30 downstairs, walk upstairs at 6:30 — you're done by 8:15 with time to catch a 9:30 headliner back on the Strip.Check Tickets & Prices →
