Dino's Lounge

Dino's Lounge

Dino's is 'the Last Neighborhood Bar in Las Vegas' - family-run since 1962, open 24/7, cash only, with the city's best karaoke (Thu-Sat, 25+ years of Danny G) and $7 PBR pitchers on the graveyard shift.

Is Dino's Lounge Worth It? Honest Review

Dino's calls itself the Last Neighborhood Bar in Las Vegas, and the claim holds up: open since 1962, still run by the founding Bartolomucci family, still 24 hours, still cash only, still pouring some of the cheapest honest drinks within sight of the Strip. It sits on the unglamorous Gateway District stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard - close enough to walk from downtown, far enough that only people who mean it do.

The institution within the institution is karaoke: Thursday through Saturday from 10pm, hosted for over 25 years by Danny G, routinely rated the best karaoke night in the city - free, packed, and zero-irony. The rest of the culture is house-made: patron-painted ceiling tiles rotated monthly, a staff-voted Drunk of the Month (winner gets a commemorative shirt and a reserved parking spot), pool at fifty cents a game, and graveyard specials Sunday-Wednesday from midnight to 8am - $7 PBR pitchers, $4 Jameson.

It's a true dive with the full spec sheet: cash only, indoor smoke, worn everything, no kitchen. That's not a bug list, it's the product description. If you want one bar that explains what Vegas locals' nightlife was before mixology arrived, this is the field trip.

Insider tip Karaoke nights, get there before 10pm to sign up - the list runs long by 11. And come Sunday-Wednesday after midnight for the graveyard specials; it's the cheapest legitimate bar tab on the Boulevard.

Frequently asked questions

When is Dino's open?

Always - 24 hours a day, every day, since the Kennedy administration. Karaoke runs Thursday through Saturday from 10pm.

Do they take cards?

No - cash only, with an ATM inside. Drinks are cheap enough that a modest withdrawal covers a long night.

What's the karaoke like?

The best-rated in the city: hosted by Danny G for more than 25 years, free to sing, Thursday-Saturday from 10pm. It's a genuine locals' institution - supportive room, long list, zero cover.

What are the drink deals?

Graveyard specials Sunday-Wednesday, midnight to 8am: $7 PBR pitchers and $4 Jameson shots. Pool runs fifty cents a game around the clock.

What kind of place is it, really?

A true dive: worn, smoky, cash-run, no kitchen - and completely genuine. The ceiling tiles are painted by regulars, the Drunk of the Month board is real, and the family that opened it in 1962 still owns it.
