The Chandelier
The Chandelier is the Cosmopolitan's three-level bar inside a giant crystal chandelier — 24-hour casino energy below, quiet lounge above, and the famous buzz-button Verbena on the semi-secret Level 1.5.

Is The Chandelier Worth It? Honest Review
The Chandelier is the Cosmopolitan's centerpiece — three stacked lounges inside a two-story crystal chandelier, its beaded curtains of light draping the escalators that connect them. Each level is its own bar: Level 1 runs 24 hours at casino energy, Level 2 plays quiet soft-glam lounge, and Level 1.5 — the half-floor in the middle — is the semi-hidden mixology room the cocktail crowd actually aims for.
Level 1.5's claim to fame is the Verbena: gin, St-Germain, and lemon finished with a Sichuan 'buzz button' flower — sip, chew the bud for thirty seconds until your mouth fizzes, then sip again as the drink rewires itself. It launched a thousand imitators and still lands. The secret menu around it (the coconut-soup Natural Selection among others) rewards asking the bartender for something off-book.
Reality checks: signature cocktails run $22-26, no seating reservations exist so weekend nights mean hovering, and Level 1 lives with the casino's noise and smoke. The stack rewards strategy — 1.5 for the drinks, 2 for the conversation, weekday afternoons for the room at its best.
Insider tip Ride the escalator to Level 1.5 and order the Verbena — chew the flower bud a full thirty seconds before the second sip; the fizz is the show. Level 2 is the quiet-conversation floor; weekday afternoons beat every evening for actually getting a seat.
