The Golden Tiki
The Golden Tiki is Chinatown's 24/7 tiki institution — shrunken-head wall, pirate ship, record-setting Mai Tai, and a June 2026 menu overhaul as it nears its tenth year. Happy hour daily 4-7pm; 21+, free parking.

Is The Golden Tiki Worth It? Honest Review
The Golden Tiki is Chinatown's 24-hour tiki fever dream and the bar that made Spring Mountain Road a nightlife destination in its own right: two themed rooms (the main bar and the Pirates' Lair) packed with waterfalls, a pirate ship, a mermaid cove, and artifacts hand-picked from Disneyland's Haunted Mansion orbit by founder Branden Powers. The signature gimmick is the wall of celebrity shrunken heads — sculpted likenesses of Vince Neil, Sammy Hagar, Carrot Top, Siegfried and Roy, and dozens more, each inducted at a live Shrunken Head Ceremony.
The drinks hold up their end. The Mai Tai set a 100-gallon world record in 2022; the Zombie, Navy Grog, Saturn, and Three Dots and a Dash run classic-form, around $14-18; and the June 2026 menu overhaul — the biggest in the bar's run as it closes on its tenth anniversary — added a one-per-guest high-proof monster and a shareable snack list (crab rangoon dip, Chinatown fries, a PuPu sampler). Happy hour lands daily 4-7pm with $9 signature cocktails and $6 beers, plus DJ and live-music editions Monday, Thursday, and Friday.
Plan around the crowds: it's dark, loud, and elbow-to-elbow on weekends, when peak-hour tables require a prepaid reservation minimum ($20-120, credited to your bill). Weeknights walk in fine. It's a 10-minute ride off-Strip with its own free lot — and it never closes, which solves more Vegas problems than you'd think.
Insider tip The 4-7pm happy hour is the sweet spot — $9 versions of the signature drinks in a room you can still move through. Friday and Saturday nights, book ahead: peak tables carry prepaid minimums, and walk-in space evaporates by 9pm.
