Retro fire-pit cocktail lounge inside the Peppermill, a 24-hour fixture on the north Strip since the 1970s, known for the shareable 64-ounce Scorpion.

Fireside Lounge (Peppermill) Las Vegas: Drinks, Vibe & What to Expect
The Fireside Lounge sits inside the Peppermill, a 24-hour coffee shop and restaurant that has operated on the north Strip since 1972. The lounge keeps the original look: mirrored walls, deep blue velvet booths, Tiffany-style flamingo lamps, and a sunken fire pit ringed by a shallow water feature at the center of the room. The dim, neon-tinted space has shown up on screen in Casino, Showgirls, and television over the years.
The signature order is the 64-ounce Scorpion, a rum-and-brandy punch served in an oversized goblet with long straws and meant to be shared. The bar also pours oversized tropical drinks and a from-scratch Bloody Mary. Because it runs on the restaurant's schedule, the lounge stays open late and through the night on weekends, making it a stop for a drink at hours when much of the Strip has wound down. Food from the full Peppermill menu is available at the booths.
Insider tip Order the Scorpion to split between two or more people; one goblet is built for a group, not a single drinker.
