Double Down Saloon

Double Down Saloon

Off-Strip punk dive bar on Paradise Road, open 24 hours with live bands, no cover, and house drinks like Ass Juice.

Double Down Saloon Las Vegas: Drinks, Vibe & What to Expect

Double Down Saloon opened in 1992 on Paradise Road, off the Strip and near the Hard Rock site, and built its reputation as the anti-Vegas dive. Founder P Moss runs it under the motto “Shut Up and Drink,” with graffiti-covered walls, a punk-rock soundtrack and live bands most nights at no cover. It is open around the clock.

The bar trades on its own mythology as much as the drinks: the house Ass Juice, served in a small toilet-shaped cup with no fixed recipe, and the Bacon Martini, made with bacon-fat-infused vodka, both date to the 1990s. Music runs to punk, surf, ska and psychobilly. It is cash-friendly, loud and deliberately rough around the edges.

Insider tip Bands play most nights with no cover — show up later and bring cash; this is a divey room, not a card-and-bottle-service kind of place.
