Frankie's Tiki Room Las Vegas: Drinks, Vibe & What to Expect
Frankie's Tiki Room is an off-Strip tiki bar on West Charleston, about two miles from the Strip and marked by pink neon out front. Owner P Moss took over the old Frankie's Bar & Cocktail Lounge in 2008 and rebuilt the interior with tiki designer Bamboo Ben — thatch, bamboo, pufferfish lamps and artwork from Shag and others. It runs 24 hours a day, which is unusual even for Las Vegas.
The draw is the rum-forward cocktail list, with house drinks like the Lava Letch and Bearded Clam served in collectible ceramic tiki mugs. Mugs rotate and can be bought on their own or with the matching drink. There is no kitchen and no pretense; it is a small, dim, locals-leaning room rather than a polished resort lounge.
Insider tip House drinks like the Lava Letch and Bearded Clam come in a tiki mug you can keep — buy it with the drink rather than separately for a better price.
