Liftoff
Liftoff Bar and Ride at AREA15 sends you 130 feet up with your cocktail — a rotating open-air platform over the valley, $19 drinks, packages from $26 with the beverage included. All-ages ride, 21+ pours.

Is Liftoff Bar and Ride Worth It? Honest Review
Liftoff Bar and Ride is AREA15's most literal cocktail concept: order at the outdoor lounge, get strapped into open-air seats around a tower, and take your drink 130 feet up as the platform rotates 360 degrees over the valley — about ten minutes of Strip skyline with a cocktail in hand. It's a bar where the barstool is the attraction.
The menu runs a flat $19 across the list — the LIFTOFF (vodka, elderflower, tonic, rosemary), a jalapeño Sky High Margarita, the Red Bull-charged Bermuda Triangle, and a soft-serve-topped Dogfight — while ride tickets go $12-18, with packages from $26 bundling the drink. The ride itself is all-ages (42 inches with an adult, 48 to fly solo); the alcohol stays 21-plus, and AREA15's district rule bars under-21s entirely after 10pm.
Reality checks: it's an open-air ride in a desert — wind, lightning, or peak heat pause it with little notice; ten minutes aloft is the whole show; and carrying a full drink through a 360-degree rotation is a skill you develop live. Do it at golden hour, buy the package rather than piecing it together, and keep an indoor AREA15 backup for weather days.
Insider tip Buy the package (from $26) instead of separate ride-plus-drink — same experience, better math — and aim for sunset or after dark when the Strip lights carry the view. Check same-day that wind hasn't paused the ride before you commit the trip.
