Vesper Bar
Vesper Bar is the Cosmopolitan's 24/7 lobby mixology bar — Bond-themed martinis, a bartender's-choice custom program, and a mirrored 2019-redesign room that works at 8am and 3am alike.

Is Vesper Bar Worth It? Honest Review
Vesper Bar holds the Cosmopolitan's front door — the lobby's 24/7 mixology bar, dressed since its 2019 redesign in mirrored tile, red Rosso Levanto marble, gilded ceiling waves, and jewel-toned velvet. The name is the mission statement: the 1953 Vesper martini anchors a Bond-inflected list, alongside its modern riff, The Spy Who Loved Me.
The bar's real signature is unwritten: the Mixologist Choice, where you hand the bartender a spirit and a mood and get a custom build back — this is one of the few lobby bars anywhere staffed to that standard around the clock. Mornings it moonlights as an espresso-and-breakfast stop, which makes it the rare Vegas bar that legitimately works at 8am, 3pm, and 3am in the same day.
The trade-offs come with the address: you're on the lobby thoroughfare, so foot traffic and check-in surges wash through, casino smoke drifts at the margins, and cocktails run $22-28. There's no entertainment program — the drinks are the show. Mid-afternoon is the connoisseur's window, when the room is quiet enough to watch the build.
Insider tip Order the Mixologist Choice — name a spirit and a direction (stirred and bitter, bright and citrusy) and let the bar build it; it's the house's real specialty. Mid-afternoon is the quiet window between check-in waves.
