Mad Apple by Cirque du Soleil Tickets

Mad Apple has closed. Cirque du Soleil gave the final performance at New York-New York on Saturday, September 5, 2026, ending a run that opened in May 2022. Cirque announced the closure on August 15, 2026 and said the show drew more than 1.2 million ticket-holders over four years; the 60 cast and crew stay on pay through October 17 and on benefits through October 31. No replacement production has been named for the room.

What Las Vegas lost was the loosest thing in the Cirque stable: a live band, stand-up interludes, basketball freestylers and street-flavored acrobatics wrapped in a variety-show format, with a working bar on stage for half an hour before curtain. It played like a night out rather than a dreamscape, ran about 90 minutes, and was strictly 18+ because the comedy earned it. It was also the cheapest Cirque ticket in town, and that was part of the argument for it. Purists counting acrobatic acts per hour always found fewer here than at Mystère or “O,” and the comedy lived or died by the rotating cast on a given night.

If you came looking for that mix, the nearest live substitutes split the formula in two. Absinthe at Caesars Palace carries the adult, comedy-forward cabaret energy with a stronger acrobatic core. For Cirque itself, Mystère at Treasure Island is the family-friendly, acro-heavy pick, and Michael Jackson ONE at Mandalay Bay is the closest thing to a Cirque party with a soundtrack.
