Is Tournament of Kings Worth It? Honest Review & Tips
Tournament of Kings is the Strip's last true arena dinner show: knights on horseback jousting, sword-fighting and racing around a dirt arena under Excalibur while each seating section - assigned a “kingdom” - screams for its own champion. Dinner is medieval by design: a three-course meal of roast chicken, potatoes, corn and dessert eaten entirely with your hands, no utensils issued. Kids treat the whole thing as the best night of the trip.
Honesty for the adults: the food is the weak link - dry chicken is the single most common complaint - and the meal-by-hand gimmick plus flying arena dust (front-row plates catch some) means this is spectacle dining, not dining. Childless couples looking for a show should spend elsewhere; families with 6–12-year-olds are the target and it hits them dead center. Runs five nights most weeks - dark Tuesday, and Wednesday on all but a handful of dates - with a 6 PM seating and an added 8:30 PM on busier nights, about 90 minutes, from about $93 with taxes and fees, dinner included. All ages: under-3s free on a lap sharing an adult's meal, everyone 4+ needs a full ticket.
Insider tipTake the second row over the first: you keep the horse-level view but skip the arena dust that lands on front-row plates - and ask for the vegetarian swap when booking, not at the table.Check Tickets & Prices →
