The Best Las Vegas Shows for Couples in 2026, Sorted by Mood

Ten minutes into O by Cirque du Soleil, the stage floor at Bellagio sinks without a sound, a 1.5-million-gallon pool takes its place, and the first diver drops from the rafters. That is the picture most couples have in mind when they start looking for a show, and for a first trip together it's still the right answer. It is also the priciest Cirque ticket in town, and two people who'd rather laugh than gasp will have a better night elsewhere. So the picks below are sorted by mood rather than star rating: spectacle, adult comedy, dinner with the show built in, magic, and the fall residencies, with a dinner under the same roof for each and a closing section on what to skip.

Spectacle: O first, Mystère if the price stings

O and Mystère come from the same company, five years apart in age and about $60 apart in price. O plays Wednesday through Sunday, two shows a night (6:30 and 9 p.m. on the September calendar), 90 minutes with no intermission, ages 5 and up. Water does the work: synchronized swimmers, high divers and aerialists trade places on a stage that turns from solid floor to pool between acts. Listed seats start around $119 and premium categories run to about $300. Center sections a few rows up are the ones worth paying for; from the far side sections the pool reads as a flat sheet and you lose the depth you paid for. Bellagio's house clears at its own pace, so build the meal around the curtain rather than straight after it: eat following the 6:30 show, or before the 9 p.m. one.

Mystère at Treasure Island is the original Vegas Cirque, running since December 1993: trampoline walls and the aerial cube, taiko drums underneath. Same 90 minutes, all ages, Friday through Tuesday at 6 and 8:30 p.m., listed from about $59. It's old-school Cirque, without the water or a modern theme, which is exactly the appeal for couples who want the acrobatics without the flagship bill. Adult comedy and burlesque

Absinthe is the Strip's long-running comedy-circus hit and the one to book if you two laugh at the same filthy jokes. It plays in a Spiegeltent on the Roman Plaza at Caesars Palace, in the round, with acrobats working a few feet from your seat while the host, The Gazillionaire, roasts the crowd. Sunday through Thursday at 7 and 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday at 7, 9 and 11 p.m.; 80 minutes, strictly 18+, tickets from $135.04 including fees. Front rows have the best view in the tent and the best odds of being pulled into a bit, so couples who want to watch rather than take part should sit a few rows back.

Atomic Saloon Show is Spiegelworld's Western cousin in a small theater at the Grand Canal Shoppes, Tuesday through Saturday, 75 minutes, 18+, listed at $118.13 plus service fees on the official calendar as of September 2; the comedy is saloon-brawl broad rather than sharp. Zombie Burlesque at the V Theater in Miracle Mile is a campy comedy-horror musical revue, Monday through Saturday at 8 p.m., 16+, from about $39: the best dumb fun per dollar on the mid-Strip, provided nobody expects production values.

Dita Von Teese at Voltaire turns up on every other couples list, and her September 3–20, 2026 run, plus an added October 8 date, showed as sold out on Voltaire's own site when we checked on September 2. Watch for released seats, but don't plan a trip around it.

Dinner and the show in one booking

Fifty seats a night. The Party at Superfrico is Spiegelworld's smallest production, staged in the Blue Room at Superfrico on Level 2 of the Cosmopolitan's Chelsea Tower: doors at 6:30 p.m., the show at 7, Sunday through Thursday, 18 and over. The ticket covers three courses from the Superfrico kitchen, a welcome glass of bubbles, and burlesque and circus acts between courses at arm's length. From $175 a person, it's the most expensive night on this page once drinks go on the bill, and the only one that settles dinner and the show in a single reservation.

The budget version is Tony n' Tina's Wedding at the Rio: an interactive Italian-American wedding reception in The Venue at Masquerade Village, with a family-style dinner and a slice of wedding cake built into every ticket, doors at 6:30 p.m. and a 7 p.m. ceremony, 90 minutes, from $79.95 plus fees. Go in knowing an actor will pull up a chair at your table. If that sounds like a nightmare, skip it: the interaction is the whole show, and it's the reason this one carries the lowest rating of anything on this page.

Magic that works as a date

Shin Lim does close-up card magic at theater scale: his hands are filmed live and thrown onto a giant screen in the Palazzo Theatre at The Venetian, so a couple in row 20 sees the sleight of hand as clearly as row 1. About 90 minutes, usually Wednesday through Sunday at 7:30 p.m., though September has dark dates, so check the calendar; listed from about $65. Quiet, precise, almost meditative, and the wrong pick if one of you wants pyrotechnics.

For something smaller, Ghost Stories fills the hidden chamber of 1923 Prohibition Bar at Mandalay Place with a parlor-sized crowd. Kent Axell mixes storytelling with close-up mind-reading, Thursday through Sunday evenings, 21+, from about $75. A room that small means you'll be part of the show, gently; it also means the date you want sells out.

Opening later this fall, Now You See Me Live, the stage version of the heist-magic films, arrives at the MGM Grand Theater on October 15, 2026 with an announced run through January 5, 2027. Four illusionists, 90 minutes, 7 p.m. most nights with a 9:30 on many, dark Wednesdays, from about $77 including fees, ages 5 and up. The production has played London, but the Vegas staging hasn't opened, so treat it as a large-scale gamble rather than a sure thing.

Fall residencies worth building a night around

October 2, 3, 7, 9 and 10, 2026: Josh Groban plays five nights at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, 8 p.m., a voice-first evening of career hits and new material, listed from about $55. It's the most straightforwardly romantic concert ticket of the season and the lowest listed entry price among the concerts here.

Earth, Wind & Fire follow with nine shows at The Venetian Theatre, October 16–31, 8:30 p.m., listed from about $65 plus fees. That's the pick for a couple who intend to dance in their seats. Santana keeps the House of Blues residency at Mandalay Bay going in its 14th year, with fall blocks September 16–27 and November 4–15, from about $99.50 plus fees: a club-sized room and a full band, the closest thing on this page to a concert in a bar. Donny Osmond runs Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Harrah's Showroom through December, from about $95 with fees, the reliable center-Strip option when the others don't match your dates. Dinner pairings that match the curtain

Every stage on this page sits inside or beside a resort, so the smart pairing is a restaurant under the same roof, which removes the rideshare and the 8:15 panic. From our restaurant pages:

• O at Bellagio. PRIME Steakhouse has the fountain-view terrace, with a minimum around $175 a person and an enforced dress code; book it after the 6:30 show, since the O house is slow to clear. Spago is the easier table, though its terrace seats get assigned when you arrive, so a reservation alone won't secure one.
• Absinthe or Josh Groban at Caesars Palace. Nobu serves 5 to 10 p.m. and fits ahead of the 9 p.m. tent show. Restaurant Guy Savoy, Tuesday through Saturday, is a three-hour tasting-menu evening; make it the night's main event and take Absinthe's 11 p.m. Friday or Saturday show instead of the 7.
• Shin Lim, Earth, Wind & Fire or Atomic Saloon at The Venetian. Bouchon does Thomas Keller's bistro classics on the Venezia Tower pool deck nightly. Mott 32 wants the Peking duck pre-ordered 48 hours ahead, a nice excuse to plan. COTE books 90 days out; the $88.88 Butcher's Feast is the order.
• Santana or Ghost Stories at Mandalay Bay. StripSteak runs a $99 three-course prix fixe, the best structured deal in its tier. Orla, Michael Mina's Mediterranean room, serves Tuesday through Saturday from 4:30 p.m. at about $80–140 a head and is still easy to book.
• Now You See Me Live at MGM Grand. Morimoto, fresh from a 2025 redesign, with the sushi omakase around $165.
• Awakening at Wynn, through October 10. SW Steakhouse opens at 5:30 p.m. with terrace tables facing the Lake of Dreams show. Delilah is the supper club with a live band and dancers; its 30-day booking window vanishes at release, so set an alarm.

Most of these rooms want a reservation weeks out for a Friday or Saturday, and a 7 p.m. curtain means a 5 or 5:30 p.m. table, which is early for a tasting menu. If dinner matters more than the show, book the later performance where one exists (9 p.m. at O, 8:30 at Mystère, 9:30 at Now You See Me Live) and eat at a normal hour. What to skip on a date

• Anything built on audience participation, unless you both love it. Hypnosis shows, crowd-work comics and the male revues run on volunteers and bachelorette parties; a couple in the room is a bystander by design. Magic Mike Live is the exception some game couples enjoy, but it's a party, not a date.
• The far-side seats at O. They sell at a similar price and show far less of the pool. If center seats are gone for your night, Mystère beats a bad O seat.
• Mad Apple. Cirque's New York party at New York-New York closes after the September 5, 2026 performance. If your dates fall before that, it's a loose, funny 18+ night from about $49; after that it's gone.
• Awakening, with a caveat. Wynn's theater-in-the-round with the shape-shifting floor gives its final performance on October 10, 2026. Through that date it remains one of the most visually striking rooms on the Strip and a genuinely romantic pick from about $73: 6:30 and 9 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday, 4 and 7 p.m. Sunday, dark Wednesday and Thursday. Don't plan a November trip around it.
• The Wizard of Oz at Sphere. It's the 1939 film remastered for the wraparound screen, about 75 minutes with haptic seats, at headline-show prices: breathtaking as a venue demo, but it is still a movie, and a long way from a date-night show.
• A dinner reservation 15 minutes after curtain. Big rooms empty slowly. Leave 30 minutes, or eat first.
