Mama Rabbit

Mama Rabbit

Mama Rabbit no longer appears to operate: Park MGM delisted the mezcal bar in summer 2026 and its official pages return 404, with no announcement from MGM. Kept as a record of Bricia Lopez's 200-label agave room.

Is Mama Rabbit Still Open? What We Found

Mama Rabbit no longer appears to be operating. Park MGM removed the bar from its dining and nightlife listings in summer 2026, and both official pages now return a 404. The LVCVA visitor listing is gone, two aggregators dropped their pages, and Yelp has marked the venue closed. MGM published no statement and no news outlet reported a closure, so nothing here is official. We have found no evidence of the room opening to the public since summer 2026, and its Instagram account last posted on July 20, 2023. This page stays up as a record rather than treating the bar as open.

What it was: Park MGM's agave room, 4,400 square feet curated by Bricia Lopez of LA's Guelaguetza and stocked with one of the largest tequila and mezcal collections in the city. The house claimed 200-plus labels, and regulars who counted said that undersold it. A double-sided bar anchored the space, margarita carts roamed it, and a small stage carried live Latin music.

The schedule was always narrow. Thursday through Saturday evenings only, opening around 9pm Thursday and 7pm on Friday and Saturday, running to 2am. Thursday was Latin Night: dance lessons around 9:30pm, live music, and the week's only happy hour, $10 margaritas from 10pm to midnight. Signatures like the Dama Blanca ($19) and Salt of the Earth ($20) led the cocktail list, and mezcal flights arrived Oaxacan style with orange and sal de gusano. Pours ran $16 to $20 and climbed fast on rare bottles, weekends pushed club-loud, and the food was thin.

For alternatives in the same resort, we cover On The Record, the other Park MGM bar in our catalog, and Roy Choi's Best Friend, the restaurant Mama Rabbit's connecting door opened into. The full Las Vegas bars list covers the rest of the Strip.

Insider tip Do not build an evening around it. Park MGM's other bar in our catalog is On The Record, and Roy Choi's Best Friend, the restaurant Mama Rabbit's connecting door opened into, sits in the same corridor. For a comparable agave list, start from our Las Vegas bars section rather than from this resort.

Frequently asked questions

Is Mama Rabbit still open?

No sign of it operating since summer 2026. Park MGM pulled the bar from its dining and nightlife pages, both official URLs now return 404, and Yelp has flagged the listing closed. MGM issued no closure statement and no outlet reported one, so this is a quiet shutdown rather than a confirmed one.

Was there an announcement?

None that we can find. The resort simply stopped listing it, the LVCVA visitor page disappeared, and two aggregators pulled their entries. The bar's own Instagram has been silent since July 20, 2023.

Why is this page still here?

Because the closure was never announced and people still search for the bar by name. An honest record is more useful than a deleted page, and if the room reopens we will say so here.

What was Mama Rabbit?

Park MGM's agave bar: 4,400 square feet curated by Bricia Lopez of LA's Guelaguetza, a claimed 200-plus tequila and mezcal labels, roaming margarita carts, and live Latin music on a small stage. It opened Thursday through Saturday evenings only and closed at 2am.

Where should I drink at Park MGM instead?

On The Record is the other Park MGM bar in our catalog. Roy Choi's Best Friend, the restaurant Mama Rabbit connected to, sits in the same corridor. For an agave list of comparable depth, look across the Strip rather than inside this resort.
