Skyfall Lounge

Skyfall is temporarily closed. The bar went dark on Monday, July 20, 2026 for what MGM Resorts called a comprehensive refresh, announced a week earlier on July 13, and the reopening is targeting early October 2026. Coverage differs on how firm that target is, from a stated October 4 return to a looser early-October window, so treat it as a plan rather than a promise and confirm before you build an evening around it.

The venue is now billed as Skyfall Panoramic Bar & Lounge, on the 64th floor of W Las Vegas. That is the tower most visitors still know as the Delano - rebranded on December 18, 2024 and standing inside the Mandalay Bay complex at the south end of the Strip. The view carries the room: the Strip running north, the Luxor beam alongside, and a wraparound terrace built for the sunset hour.

Hours before the refresh ran 5 p.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday, and 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday, with a 21+ door and nightlife attire. There was no cover, though reservable tables carried minimums on busy nights, and a resident DJ picked up as the evening went on. Assume that shape returns, then verify it, because a refresh of this size can move hours, menu and table policy.

One practical note for the reopening: the 64th floor is reached from the W's own lobby elevators rather than Mandalay Bay's. Arrive 30 to 45 minutes before sunset if the terrace rail matters to you. The old Delano-era page for the bar is gone, so anything still circulating under that name is out of date.
